For the outing, she donned a light blue button-up shirt, white pants and white shoes, with a light blue sweater. Gertz accessorized with a red cross-body purse, a pair of sunglasses and simple earrings.

The actress, who also starred in Twister alongside Helen Hunt, reportedly enjoyed lunch at the private members club San Vicente Bungalows.

In addition to Sixteen Candles (1984) and Twister (1996), Gertz is known for 1987’s The Lost Boys and the TV series Still Standing. Her most recent acting credit was in the 2022 film I Want You Back.

Today, Gertz is married to businessman Tony Ressler, and they share four children: Oliver, Nicholas, Theo and Abigail.

When Ressler purchased the Atlanta Hawks in 2015, their family moved to Georgia to be closer to the NBA team.

“It just seemed like a natural moment for me to take a break from acting,” she told The Hollywood Reporter in 2018. “It’s hard to even say it out loud because I love what I do. It’s given me so many beautiful things in my life, taught me so many things about myself and the world around me.”
