Jason Momoa is reflecting on the time he got to spend with Ozzy Osbourne shortly before his death.

On July 5, the Aquaman actor hosted the legendary rocker’s final Black Sabbath concert in Osbourne’s hometown of Birmingham, England. Four days before Osbourne’s death at age 76 on Tuesday July 22, Momoa spoke with PEOPLE about the experience while doing press for his new Apple TV+ series Chief of War.

“I’m not going to lie to you — my month has been like bang, bang, bang, bang. July has been amazing,” Momoa said. “To be at Sabbath, that’s 13-year-old Jason going, like, ‘Wow.’ Hanging out with all my music rock gods and different friends — it’s just pinch me. The come down is going to be brutal.”

The farewell concert was Osbourne’s first performance in 20 years with his bandmates. The Prince of Darkness performed from a throne due to physical limitations from his Parkinson’s disease, which he was diagnosed with in 2003.

The show, which was called “Back to the Beginning,” featured other rock icons including Metallica, Guns N’ Roses and Slayer.

Black Sabbath performed fan-favorite songs like War Pigs, N.I.B., Iron Man and Paranoid while Osbourne performed solos such as I Don’t Know, Mr. Crowley, Suicide Solution, Mama, I’m Coming Home and Crazy Train.

On July 18, Osbourne announced the performance will be released in theaters as a concert film next year.
