The Queen of Halloween is back on her throne, and is already plotting her next costume transformation.
During an August 6 appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Heidi Klum confirmed that her legendary Halloween party is happening once again in 2025. As always, she’s not playing it safe.
“Of course, I’m going to do my Halloween party. I’m hard at work already,” she told Fallon, before offering one cryptic tease: “Oooh, I’m gonna be extra ugly and super scary.”
True to form, Klum refused to spoil the surprise but couldn’t resist adding a playful countdown: “Let’s not ruin it. We have exactly 86 days, but who’s counting?”
That was the only sliver of a hint she gave about this year’s costume, but history suggests fans should brace themselves for something extraordinary.
After all, Klum has nearly done it all. From a grotesque worm to a skinless cadaver to a full-body Jessica Rabbit transformation, her Halloween looks have become one of the biggest reveals of the season.
“Over the years, I’ve met amazing people, and they help me now,” Klum said of her go-to team of makeup artists and designers.
Klum and husband Tom Kaulitz also have a reputation for couple costumes that go beyond kitschy. In 2024, they appeared as Mr. and Mrs. E.T.
“I loved being E.T. so much,” she told Fallon. “It was so heavy holding that head on my head because it goes from the back to the front. I thought my neck was going to snap off.”
Still, her reign hasn’t always been so elaborate. Fallon brought out a photo from her first-ever Halloween party in 2000, where Klum wore an all-black leather outfit and a wig. She didn’t mince words.
“Well, this was boring. Very boring. This was my very first one,” she said. “I was like, ‘I’m Heidi. I’m going to do a Heidi-themed dirndl-type thing in patent leather.’ But I had to do my own hair and makeup. I didn’t know anyone at the time who does special effects makeup.”
Needless to say, that’s no longer a problem.
Though she wouldn’t say if her 2025 costume will once again include Kaulitz, Klum did promise to leave fans guessing a little longer.
“I gave you a hint — I’ll give you another hint later,” she teased Fallon.
