Meghan Trainor just jumped on the internet’s latest trend craze, but some fans say they didn’t even recognize her in the new video, uploaded to her TikTok this week.
Set to the viral Love Island USA “I’m a Mommy” sound, the “Mother” singer appeared to be dressed up on the set of a music video as she and her husband, Daryl Sabara, lip-synced to the sound. Trainor’s voluminous blonde hair was pushed back from her face by a headband resembling chain links, and she wore a pink long-sleeved coat with elaborate clasps and giant fur cuffs and a collar over a pale yellow skirt decorated with black polka dots.
Her nails were manicured into French tips, she wore pointed white pumps with ankle straps, and she finished the look with ’60s-inspired glossy pale pink lip color and dramatic lashes.
She earned comparisons to several other celebrities, including Barbie, in the comments.

“I thought this was Paris Hilton,” one fan admitted.
“I thought you were Paris Hilton for a second,” another reiterated, with the socialite’s name appearing in several other comments.
Somebody else thought she favored Nancy Sinatra in the clip, with multiple comments quoting her lyrics, “these boots are made for walkin’ 👢.”
“omg I didn’t recognise her for a second,” another commenter wrote without offering any comparisons, with someone else claiming that they “can’t recognize” her these days “unless [they] look at her username to know that it’s actually her.”
Other commenters criticized her weight loss and breast augmentation, blaming the transformation for supposedly looking like a different person, leading many more to come to her defense.
“She literally looks the same just thinner,” one wrote, with another agreeing, “She has the same face and [lost] some weight. Chill.”
“I’m not sure, but I think she’s allowed to do whatever she wants to her body or look however she [wants],” a third clapped back.
“YOU LOOK ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!” one fan hyped her up emphatically, with another noting that she was “Glowing!!!🔥✨” and another declaring, “she looks incredible.”
