Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade are showcasing some serious flower power.
While stepping out at the 2025 Met Gala on Monday, May 5, the power couple turned heads for all the right reasons as they showcased their unique interpretation of the “Tailed for You” dress code.
For starters, Union, 52, wore a black Prada dress with a must-see white train filled with floral accents. She completed her look with a floral headpiece and a diamond necklace from Tiffany & Co. that sparkled as cameras flashed on the red carpet.
Not to be outdone, Wade, 43, proved once again that men always step up at the Met Gala as he sported a floral vest underneath his white blazer. He completed his look with black tuxedo pants.

Before even stepping foot onto the carpet, the couple appeared to be in good spirits as they danced outside of The Carlyle hotel in New York before taking cover under umbrellas to be whisked away to the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
Back in October 2024, the museum announced their spring 2025 exhibition would be “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style,” which focuses on Black dandyism and “explores the importance of sartorial style to the formation of Black identities,” according to a press release.
This certainly isn’t the first Met Gala Union and Wade have conquered. The pair have consistently been one of the best dressed couples, including the times they attended in 2015, 2022 and 2023.
While some stars may get nervous to walk one of the most fashionable carpets of the year, Union tries to savor every moment of it.
“I love that part,” she told People in an interview published Sunday, May 4. “I think it’s nerve wracking for a lot of people, but when you really f*** with a designer and you really love leaning into their creativity and their interpretation of the theme and you are a conduit of somebody else’s artistic freedom and expression that also matches your own, it’s a f***ing awesome.”

As for how Wade got invested in fashion, it started long before he was an NBA superstar.
“My father has always been a man who would take care of himself,” he told Highsnobiety in March. “My uncles took care of themselves. I always knew that’s what I wanted to do: I wanted to be one of them sharp-dressed men who smelled good, who stayed clean-shaved, and all that.”
The all-star athlete added, “I’ve been getting my nails painted since 2007.”
