Andy King has found his prince charming!
King — who rose to viral fame in 2019 after appearing in FYRE: The Greatest Party That Never Happened, Netflix’s Fyre Festival documentary — married his longtime partner, Craig McBlain, in a “dream come true” wedding at Killochan Castle in Ayrshire, Scotland, on Saturday, June 14.
“[It was] an emotional, joyful, and beautifully intimate celebration in a setting that felt straight out of a fairy tale,” King tells PEOPLE.

The couple were inspired to tie the knot at a historic castle in McBlain’s hometown after watching A Merry Scottish Christmas the night of their engagement on Dec. 4, 2024. As the sun set over The Berkshires and Catskill Mountains that day, the pair enjoyed a celebratory bottle of champagne at their farm in Hudson Valley, New York, when they mutually agreed “it was the right time” to get married.
As an event planner, King was especially excited to plan his own wedding with the help of 7 Hospitality Management.
“It was important that every detail reflected who we are — down to the vows, the music, and the cultural nods to Craig’s heritage,” King says.

Laura Browne, the group events manager, adds: “It was an absolute pleasure to work with Andy and Craig on their very special wedding celebration. Collectively, we curated a fantastic event delivering the imaginative ideas the couple had in the beautiful setting of Killochan Castle. A truly enjoyable event to be a part of.”
Wedding festivities kicked off at the couple’s welcome party on Friday, June 13, featuring three different food trucks: barbecue from The Scullery + Smoc, fish and chips from Joanna’s Chippy Van, and wood-fired pizza from Flaming Indulgence. The grooms wore custom looks from Rowing Blazers.
The next day, McBlain changed into a kilt in his family tartan from MacGregor and MacDuff, with King wearing coordinating trews. Their “timeless” ceremony at golden hour was led by traditional bagpipes from Liam, a local piper.

The couple exchanged handwritten vows and “The Senator” rings from Manly Bands. Their ceremony was officiated by King’s close friend, retired Broadway producer Jack Thomas.
For McBlain, marriage means “anchoring the life we’ve built with love and commitment.”
“We’re excited for all the everyday moments, adventures, and building a future that reflects who we are together,” he says.
“We both support each other’s goals and careers and always lean on each other when we need anything,” King adds. “What I love most about Craig is his unconditional love and support that helps keep me grounded and calm!”

The “romantic, elegant, and deeply personal” wedding was attended by 220 guests from both sides of the Atlantic Ocean, among whom was Chevy Chase and his wife, Janyni Chase. Their daughter, Cydney Chase, performed both nights alongside Nick Morgan, John Rankin and Mariana Bell.
There was even more live music at the wedding reception, with performances from The Trueloves and Red Hot Chilli Pipers that had everyone dancing until 2 a.m.

Guests enjoyed a plated dinner underneath a “stunning” tent from Finesse Marquees. The menu, curated by chefs Claire Caminada and Susie Cover, featured seasonal fare made from local ingredients.
Afterward, King and McBlain sliced into their wedding cake from Cake N Bake with a sword. Additional desserts from Home Bakery and Girvan Gelateria were served.
The couple — who met in Venice, California — will travel to Paris for their honeymoon. When they return, they’ll spend “the next few months” restoring a cottage they recently purchased in Scotland. The pair will also be focusing on their professional aspirations, with King working on his memoir and McBlain selling real estate in Charleston, South Carolina.

“Our life together is full of little moments every day that feel like magic — whether we’re traveling, working together, cooking or hiking [with] our dog, wee Cooper.
