Fan-Favorite TV Chef, 54, Twins With 17-Year-Old Daughter & Shows Off Her Singing Skills originally appeared on Parade.
Chef Giada De Laurentiis, 54, isn’t the only star in the family! On Sunday, July 6, 2025, the former Food Network superstar shared a series of photos with her lookalike daughter, Jade, on Instagram. The 17-year-old rocked a pair of denim shorts, white sneakers, and a red top, just like her mama, and they both looked stunning in the summer camp snaps.
De Laurentiis also shared several videos of her mini-me singing in a production of Come From Away at the Stagedoor Manor theater camp, and she couldn’t have been prouder of her daughter’s amazing voice. “Best holiday weekend watching Jadey’s camp performances,” wrote the Giada at Home star. “Brava!”

Fans were equally blown away by the teen’s performing chops, and took to the comments to share their praise. “Wow! She’s great! No big surprise to me, though! You must be beaming with pride!” said one fan, while another added, “[Jade] is so talented! Apple doesn’t fall far from the proverbial tree.” A third follower chimed in, saying, “What a beautiful daughter, looks just like Mommyyyyy.”
Jade later reposted a video shared by the camp of a surprise performance during lunch, and admitted that she “had the best time” putting on a show for her fellow campers.
De Laurentiis looked like she was living her best life over the 4th of July weekend, just days after premiering her new Amazon Prime show Giada In My Kitchen on June 23. The move came after she shocked the food world by announcing she was leaving her longtime home on the Food Network in 2023 after 21 years.
“I was very fearful of leaving Food Network,” De Laurentiis shared on the Superwomen podcast with Rebecca Minkoff. “Because when you’re a big fish in that pond and then you get out, who knows what’s going to happen next. But I really started to become interested in the entrepreneurial journey, and I realized I couldn’t do both.”
The star admitted that she was “burnt out” from the grueling filming schedule and that she was “getting bored” and feared her fans were, too.
“So about two and a half years ago, I was like ‘I’m going to make the jump, and I’m going to put my energy into doing Giadzy.’ I’ll still do TV. I have a deal with Amazon, so I still do a little bit of that, but it’s definitely not the schedule I used to keep,” she said.
