Eva Longoria comes to Cannes prepared.
While speaking to PEOPLE at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival, the actress and Nespresso ambassador opened up about all that goes into her stunning red carpet looks. Longoria, 50, says that her stylist, Maeve Reilly, “really put so much thought” into every fashion moment.
“I have a whole team that think of the color of the summer and the fabric that we need to do and we can’t repeat the beading, because we already did the beading, and we can’t do this neckline, we’ve done that neckline,” she says, noting that “you’re getting photographed all the time, and so each look kind of carries its weight.”
“So curating the week of Cannes and arriving with six trunks of dresses and changes and shoes and bags and jewelry,” the Land of Women star adds. “I mean, it’s a lot.”
Longoria also brought her “whole circus” of a family to Cannes, including her six-year-old son, Santiago Enrique Bastón, whom she shares with her José Antonio “Pepe” Bastón. “We’re always together,” the actress says.

“Hair, makeup, styling, it all has to match,” she explains. “It all has to go together. Sometimes you see a beautiful dress and you’re like, ‘Oh, that’s not the hair for it.’ And sometimes you see great makeup and you’re like, ‘Oh, but not with that dress.’ So I think it has to be combined into the final product, the final look.”
At the festival, Longoria also opened up about celebrating Lauren Sánchez’s upcoming nuptials to Jeff Bezos at her star-studded bachelorette party in Paris on Friday, May 16.
“I had to pop in and out, so I wasn’t there as long,” Longoria says of the festivities. “But yeah, it’s so nice to celebrate love. It’s just the best feeling in the world to be there and go, ‘Yay, love.’ ”

Kim Kardashian, Kris Jenner and Katy Perry were also among the guests at the gathering for Sánchez, 55.
“Paris is great,” Longoria says, adding that she was also in France to shoot her CNN series, Eva Longoria: Searching for France. “I have such a connection with France… So to be able to kind of eat my way through France and learn more about the history of that, really to learn the history of this gastronomical juggernaut is really fascinating.”
