Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Eli Ricks was left smitten after a White House encounter with Ivanka Trump.
Ricks, 23, and the Super Bowl champion Eagles visited the White House for a celebration on Monday, April 28, but Ricks had other things on his mind than reflecting on the past.
“Donald trump daughter is beautiful damn,” Ricks posted via X on Monday night.
Four minutes later, he added, “After seeing her in person Ivanka is exactly my type.”
Ricks was signed by the Eagles as an undrafted free agent after the 2023 NFL Draft and appeared in seven games — but none in the playoffs — for Philadelphia last season.

After his posts about Trump — who shares daughter Arabella, 13, and sons Joseph, 11, and Theodore, 9, with her husband, Jared Kushner — Ricks’ comments section was filled with disbelief.
“Okay there’s no way this is real,” one follower wrote. Another joked, “She don’t like bench players lor bro find your way into a starting lineup first.”
Ricks also posted a couple of pictures from inside the White House on Monday, posing in front of the mural of President Donald Trump, Ivanka’s father, being shot in July 2024.
The Eagles were fêted by the president, 78, during a ceremony on the South Lawn attended by the majority of the Eagles roster, head coach Nick Sirianni and owner Howie Roseman.
Donald called the Eagles “an incredible team, an incredible” group and used the afternoon as an opportunity to take a swipe at Taylor Swift, whose boyfriend, Travis Kelce, and the Kansas City Chiefs were defeated by the Eagles in Super Bowl LIX on February 9.
“I watched in person,” he said of the game. “I was there along with Taylor Swift. How did that work out? How did that one work out?”
Swift, 35, was loudly booed when she was shown on the big screen inside New Orleans’ Caesars Superdome at the Super Bowl.

Donald singled out Eagles running back Saquon Barkley during the ceremony, who defended himself for golfing with the president one day before the event.
“Lol some people are really upset cause I played golfed and flew to the White House with the PRESIDENT,” Barkley posted via X on Monday morning. “Maybe I just respect the office, not a hard concept to understand. Just golfed with Obama not too long ago…and look forward to finishing my round with Trump!”
He added, “Now ya get out my mentions with all this politics and have [an] amazing day 😂.”
Quarterback Jalen Hurts, wide receiver AJ Brown and defensive tackle Jalen Carter were among the group of Eagles players who skipped Monday’s event. A White House official blamed the players’ absences on “scheduling conflicts.”
