The first full trailer for the Max crime drama “Duster” has dropped, promising viewers a high-octane ride through the American southwest.

The series is set in the 1970s and is said to explore “the life of a gutsy getaway driver (Josh Holloway) for a growing crime syndicate that goes from dangerous to wildly, stupidly dangerous when a tenacious young agent (Rachel Hilson) comes into town hellbent on taking his crime family down.”

The full trailer can be seen below. “Duster” will premiere on May 15 at 9 p.m. ET on Max, with new episodes dropping weekly through July 3.

Along with Holloway and Hilson, the cast includes Keith David, Sydney Elisabeth, Greg Grunberg, Camille Guaty, Asivak Koostachin, Adriana Aluna Martinez, and Benjamin Charles Watson.

Max has released the official trailer for the original drama series DUSTER, co-created by Emmy®-winner J.J. Abrams and co-showrunner LaToya Morgan, debuting THURSDAY, MAY 15 at 9:00 p.m. ET/6:00 p.m. PT on Max. The eight-episode season, produced in association with Warner Bros. Television, will debut new episodes weekly through July 3.

The series hails from co-creators J.J. Abrams and LaToya Morgan. Abrams executive produces along with Rachel Rusch Rich for Bad Robot. Morgan executive produces and serves as showrunner via TinkerToy Productions. Steph Green directed and executive produced the first two episodes. Warner Bros. Television is the studio.

“Duster” was first reported as being the works at Max (then HBO Max) back in 2020. The role reunites Holloway with Abrams, as Holloway is best known for starring as James “Sawyer” Ford on the ABC drama “Lost.”
