Legendary actor Dick Van Dyke might be 99 years old, but that doesn’t mean he plans on slowing down any time soon! In fact, his camp just shared some major news, which has his fans beyond excited.
In honor of his upcoming 100th birthday, he has a brand new book coming out entitled, Dick Van Dyke: An Optimists’ Guide to a Happy Life: 100 Rules for Living to 100.
The announcement was shared on Instagram a few days ago. The book comes out on November 18, 2025, and it’s now available for pre-order.

People are beyond excited to read his latest chapters, and one fan said, “You just keep making the world a better place and I am so grateful ❤️ Excited for this!!”
Another added, “Bless him. He’s my favorite. ❤️,” and someone else chimed in with, “I cannot wait to read this book!!! I read his other books and they are great!!!”

Someone else insisted, “Protect him at all costs!” It’s safe to say anyone will agree with that statement. Van Dyke is just such an icon, and he’s been putting smiles on people’s faces for so many decades now.
Other fans who saw the post are hopeful that the book will also be released on audio, with one noting, “An audiobook with this legend’s voice would be the WORLD. 🥲💜” It truly would.
November can’t get here fast enough!
