Demi Lovato is cooking up something new – her own cook book.
Lovato, 32, will release ONE PLATE AT A TIME: Recipes for Finding Freedom with Food on March 31, 2026. An official release reads, “Demi Lovato’s cooking journey started when she was almost thirty. After years of navigating a challenging relationship with food, she found that learning to cook– discovering how to truly nourish herself in mind, body, and spirit–was a revelation.”
The book will feature the “Anyone” singer’s “top five” recipes among a plethora of categories, totaling more than 80 recipes total.
The singer promised that there will be no “overwhelming” ingredients or cooking skills required to create the recipes, but rather easy-to-make dishes that “emphasize enjoyment over perfection.”
“This is a cookbook for people who struggle to enjoy food without guilt and for anyone looking for a gentler, more grounded approach to cooking,” the release says.

The book, to be published with Flatiron Books, an imprint of Macmillan, features a photo of Lovato digging into a plate of home made pasta in her cozy kitchen. On the cover, the Grammy nominee wears a silky olive green top paired with a blue and white knit cardigan and jeans, her long dark waves swept to the side. The cover shot is flanked by a pale pink border.
Lovato has previously opened about her struggle with an eating disorder. In a 2020 episode of Ashley Graham’s Pretty Big Deal podcast, the “Cool for the Summer” singer recounted “Running myself into the ground with workouts and extreme dieting.”

Also in 2020, Lovato opened up about the lack of support she had in recovery in an interview with Ellen DeGeneres. “I didn’t know that until today too,” Lovato said. “But I lived a life for the past six years that I felt like wasn’t my own. Because I struggled really hard with an eating disorder, yes, and that was my primary problem and then it turned into other things, but my life, I just felt was — I hate to use this word, but I felt like it was controlled by so many people around me.”
ONE PLATE AT A TIME: Recipes for Finding Freedom with Food will be available everywhere books are sold on March 31, 2026.
