Demi Lovato and Jordan “Jutes” Lutes were married this weekend at a ceremony in California after three years together. Though details of the wedding are still private, she went into great detail about her gorgeous Vivienne Westwood gown in an interview with Vogue. The star stated that she has been a huge fan of Westwood’s designs for years and knew the fashion house could give her exactly the look she wanted.
“When I was thinking about [what dress style I wanted] I often found myself coming back to Vivienne’s designs—specifically how the silhouettes really compliment the curves in your body, and her use of corsets,” she added.
The result was an off-the-shoulder white gown with a corset bodice and an A-line skirt that fell into a train behind her. She left her long dark hair down in waves, covering it in a cathedral-style tulle veil in matching white.
“We were not only able to work off that [initial] inspiration, but we added touches that really make this dress so special to me,” Lovato explained.
The singer had a second Westwood look for the reception, featuring another corset bodice and column skirt, with her shoulders and neckline draped with broken pearls.
“There was so much attention to detail on the reception dress beading,” Lovato shared. “The pearl detail and draping is such a special element, and each strand was draped and attached by hand, one by one. It’s a one-of-a-kind piece that makes me feel so special.”
Jutes was also reportedly dressed in his finest for the evening, wearing a Saint Laurent suit with jewelry from David Yurman and Spinelli Kilcollin.
The couple has been together since 2022, after meeting in the studio as they worked on Lovato’s album Holy Fvck. Jutes proposed in December 2023 with a pear-shaped diamond ring from Material Good’s Teresa Panico. At the time, Page Six reported that he surprised Lovato at Craig’s restaurant in West Hollywood, with their family and closest friends.
