Country Star Lainey Wilson’s ‘Flawless’ Performance With Mumford & Sons Has Fans in Awe originally appeared on Parade.
Mumfords & Sons teamed up with Lainey Wilson for an epic performance at the first stop of their Railroad Revival Tour on August 3.
The folk band kicked off their latest tour in New Orleans and brought out Wilson, 33, as one of the first special guests along each tour stop. During their performance, Wilson performed a cover of Shania Twain’s “Man, I Feel Like a Woman” and Wilson’s 2024 single “4X4XU.”
Mumford and Sons posted their performance together on TikTok and wrote “🫶 you, Lainey” in the caption. Fans flocked to the comment section the praise Wilson and Mumford & Sons for their “flawless” performance.
“Wish I could’ve seen this [in-person],” one fan wrote while another fan commented on how “Lainey’s voice is just so soothing 💓!”
Wilson also took to Instagram and shared several behind-the-scenes photos and videos from the tour stop, including snaps with Mumford & Sons’ lead singer Marcus Mumford.
“Can it be Mumford & Sons + one new sister now?” she wrote in the caption. “Made music and friends for a lifetime with all of these folks in New Orleans yesterday.”

Along with Wilson’s special appearance, Mumford & Sons also announced Darius Rucker as a special guest at the band’s upcoming tour stop on August 4 along with other surprise guests at their other shows.
Wilson herself will perform at the annual Concert for Legends in Canton, Ohio on August 9 and embark on her own tour across North America starting August 14. She is also set to release the deluxe version of her album Whirlwindon August 22.
