Billy Joel celebrated his 76th birthday on Friday, May 9 and both his ex-wife, supermodel Christie Brinkley, and current wife, Alexis Roderick, celebrated with posts on Instagram.
“Happy Birthday Billy from the Tower Hill Gang !Wishing you the best year yet lots of Love! 🚢⚓️🕶️🛟🛵⛴️🎂🏍️😎🍰🍿💐#liveitup!” Brinkley wrote in her post, which featured a photo of her, Joel and their daughter, Alexa Ray Joel, as well as another snap with the trio and a few other guests.

In the photo, Joel is wearing a black T-shirt, jeans and an olive-colored basedball hat with his sunglasses propped on it. Alexa Ray is wearing a grey polka dot fitted bodice pleated skirt while Brinkley sports blue jean overalls, cinched at the waist, over a white long-sleeved blouse.
Alexa Ray was among the first to comment, writing, “How’d I end up with the best parents on earth?”

Over at Joel’s official Instagram account, his current wife Roderick also wished Joel a happy birthday and posted a carousel of family photos with her, Joel and their daughters Della and Remy.
In the first photo, the family is posed on a dock with the ocean in the background. “Happy birthday to the best husband and dad this group of girls could ask for! 🎈🎈🎈We love you more than anything. You are our whole world and we are so grateful for another trip around the sun with you! 🩷🩷🩷💙,” reads the caption.
The other photos in the carousel feature a look back at the family over the years.
