Great American Family star Candace Cameron Bure is all of us while she impatiently waits for it to be warm weather time. In addition to chopping off her long locks for a cute new summer ‘do, the Fuller House star marked a special occasion on her Instagram stories with some drool-worthy food.
On April 28, she posted photos of a platter of roasted sweet potatoes and a whole roasted chicken from her family’s “wood fire oven.”
Over the top of two shots of said oven burning merrily on their backyard patio, Cameron Bure wrote, “The season is officially open 🔥.”
Despite it nearly being summer, Cameron Bure and her daughter, Natasha Bure, have been hard at work lately filming their first Christmas movie together. The film is called Timeless Tidings of Joy, and you can see the first four photos from Great American Family here.
In the film, Candace and Natasha star as a grandmother and her granddaughter — but it’s not what you think. Natasha plays the grandmother, Joy, back in the 1940s, while Candace plays the granddaughter, Ally, in the present time where she has inherited her grandmother’s letter-press shop called Timeless Tidings.
“The shop was a labor of love, service, and sacrifice throughout the decades for Joy. Ally always saw Joy’s sacrifices for the shop as a burden on Joy’s life and happiness. When Ally returns to the shop to prepare it for sale, she meets Bennett (Paul Greene), an old soul, who wants to preserve her Grandma Joy’s legacy. As Ally and Bennett navigate the next steps, divine intervention forces them both to take a new, or rather old, look at the fate of the shop and themselves,” the description reads.
In the press release, Great American Media president and CEO Bill Abbott said of the film, “Candace Cameron Bure is a superb storyteller and star, and Timeless Tidings of Joy tells the story of how one special message can change lives – even decades later.”
Timeless Tidings of Joy will premiere in December 2025 on Great American Family.
