Brittany Cartwright is claiming that her ex Jax Taylor body-shamed her after she gave birth to their son Cruz

Brittany Cartwright is claiming that her ex Jax Taylor had some choice words for her after she gave birth to their son, Cruz.
During the first part of The Valley‘s reunion episodes, which aired on Tuesday, July 29, Cartwright opened up about dating Taylor’s friend, Julian Sensley, shortly after the two separated. As she spoke about how it might’ve been weird that she dated within their friend group, Cartwright, 36, shared that she felt like Sensley treated her better than Taylor did.
“Another thing I need to say about that. Whatever, maybe it was weird that I hooked up with somebody that was around the friend group, but my confidence was at an all-time low. This man degraded me, put me down, body-shamed me constantly,” Cartwright said, referring to Taylor.

“Julian gave me attention that I needed in that moment. He made me feel sexy. He made me feel beautiful. He gave me some confidence back,” she explained.
Taylor cut in to say that Sensley was dating several other women at the time, but Cartwright fired back that it didn’t matter since he was “what I needed” and claimed that Taylor had made her “lose my sparkle.”
“I lost a lot of my personality being with you. And everybody knows it,” Cartwright told her ex. “I’m not arguing with you. Do you see me arguing with you?” Taylor replied.
As the two bickered about Cartwright losing her sparkle, the proud mom claimed that Taylor body-shamed her during their relationship, including directly after she gave birth to their now 4-year-old son, Cruz.
“I mean, I had your son, and then you body-shamed me for stretch marks,” Cartwright said.
“I didn’t body-shame you,” Taylor said, shaking his head. “I never said that.”
“Yes, you did,” said Cartwright as the rest of the cast chimed in behind her. “I had your child. Your beautiful child.”
Taylor began to yell at the rest of his castmates, who were defending Cartwright and telling Taylor that they’d seen the texts he’d sent his estranged wife.
“Literally called me a tree trunk because I had stretch marks,” Cartwright said.
After another cast member told him to apologize, Taylor responded, “I am very sorry about all of this.”
On Aug. 27, Cartwright filed for divorce from her husband of five years, requesting primary legal and physical custody of Cruz. In a document filed on Sept. 26, in response to Cartwright’s divorce filing, Taylor requested that Cartwright receive full legal and physical custody of their son.
