Hailey Bieber is no stranger to attending the Met Gala alone, and tonight was no different as she made another solo red carpet appearance. Hailey elevated the classic tuxedo dress, wearing a little black look from Saint Laurent by Anthony Vaccarello. She accessorized with Tiffany & Co. jewelry. The look paid homage to the night’s “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style” theme.
Hailey and Justin skipped the Met Gala last year, as Hailey was pregnant with their son, Jack. The couple also opted out of attending in 2023. In 2022, Hailey made a solo appearance, stunning in a white Saint Laurent gown paired with a dramatic feathered cape.
She and Justin went to the Met Gala together in 2021, both making a bold statement in matching black outfits. Hailey wore a striking black gown by Yves Saint Laurent, while Justin complemented her look in a black suit.
The couple hasn’t given any major interviews since welcoming their baby boy in August. However, last summer, Hailey opened up about her deep love for her husband, telling W magazine, “In the beginning [of pregnancy], it was super emotional for me. Like, ‘I love this human so much. How can I possibly bring someone else into this?’ I’m trying to soak in these days of it being Justin and me, just the two of us.”
She also discussed her decision to keep her pregnancy private for over six months, explaining, “I was honestly able to keep it quiet because I stayed small for a long time. I didn’t have a belly, really, until I was six months pregnant, which was when I announced it. I was able to wear big jackets and stuff.”
“I probably could have hid it until the end,” she added. “But I didn’t enjoy the stress of not being able to enjoy my pregnancy outwardly. I felt like I was hiding this big secret, and it didn’t feel good. I wanted the freedom to go out and live my life.”
