Brian Austin Green‘s ex-fiancée Vanessa Marcil shared a screenshot that showed his alleged texts to her.
People magazine reported that Marcil, who stopped dating Green in 2003, uploaded a screenshot of alleged text messages from the Beverly Hills, 90210 actor, wherein they discussed their 23-year-old son, Kassius Lijah Marcil-Green, in a since-deleted Instagram post. The screenshot, which was uploaded on May 6, showed an image of what appears to be Marcil-Green’s leg. In response to the picture, Green allegedly inquired, “When was that?”
“Yesterday was his graduation,” responded Marcil.
According to the screenshot, Green then allegedly commented, “You did a really great job. He’s an amazing person.”
People magazine reported that Green spoke about his romance with Marcil while recording the May 5 episode of his podcast, Oldish. According to Green, his mother had smothered him, causing him to have unhealthy relationships. During the podcast episode, he said, “the relationship that I had with Vanessa was very toxic in that way.”
“Like, it wasn’t a loving, caring relationship,” said Green.
Green is a father to three other children, Noah, Bodhi, and Journey, mothered by his ex-wife, Megan Fox, whom he officially divorced in 2022. Fox also has a baby girl, born in March 2025, whom she shares with Machine Gun Kelly.
While speaking to TMZ in December 2024, Green expressed his disappointment after reports circulated that MGK and Fox split.
“I want the best for her. I want the best for the baby. I want the best for our kids. That’s a shame. I know that she’s been so excited. And the kids have been so excited for life and the change and all of that,” said Green to the publication.
Green also opened up about his relationship with Fox during the May 5 Oldish podcast episode, as reported by Us Weekly. Green, who is 12 years her senior, believes their age difference was one of the reasons they eventually split. He noted that Fox became a parental figure to Marcil-Green when she was just 18-years-old.
“It was amazing, but it was so much responsibility, I think she kind of just got to a point in her life where she was like, ‘I missed out on being a kid, like, being an irresponsible kid. I jumped in at just over 18 years old with a guy that had a 2-year-old,” said Green while recording the podcast. “I think it became overwhelming for her. When she realized that, she wanted out quickly, which is then what made it hard for me. I understood it, but it doesn’t make it any less hard.”
