Cinderella’s shoes have been filled!

Disney has finally announced the full cast for its upcoming movie, Descendants: Wicked Wonderland, which marks the fifth installment of the popular Disney Channel franchise. Brandy will be reprising her iconic role of Cinderella, as will Rita Ora as the Queen of Hearts.

Also returning are Malia Baker, who plays Cinderella’s daughter Chloe, and Kylie Cantrall, the Queen of Hearts’ daughter Red. They shared the “huge news” — while in costume as the project is currently in production — in a YouTube Short on Tuesday, May 6.

“Should we tell them?” Cantrall whispered to Baker, who replied, “I think so.”

After revealing the movie’s title, the pair were joined by other cast members as they all jumped and cheered in excitement.

According to the official logline, “Descendants: Wicked Wonderland explores what ‘happily ever after’ really means for Red and Chloe following their time-traveling adventures in the 2024 hit film Descendants: The Rise of Red.”

“Set primarily in present-day Wonderland with a host of new and familiar characters, this sequel delves into the warning at the end of the previous movie: There are consequences when you alter the fabric of time.”

Paolo Montalban is also taking on King Charming for a second time in the franchise, more than two decades after starring as Prince Charming alongside Brandy as Cinderella in Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella. Melanie Paxson will once again play Fairy Godmother, making her the only actor to appear in all five films.
