Leave it to Bad Bunny to deliver another showstopping look on the Met steps. The superstar arrived to this year’s Met Gala wearing a brown Prada suit with embellished gloves, an oversized bowling bag, and sunglasses in honor of the museum’s new exhibition, “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style.” Most importantly, he completed the ensemble with a tribute to the Puerto Rican straw hat.
“I hope that people think that I’m looking good,” he said humbly on the red carpet.

This, of course, is not the artist’s first time attending the storied gala. Last year, when he was a co-chair for the event, he wore a custom ensemble by Maison Margiela, looking like he came straight out of the Renaissance.
In 2023, he wore a white suit by Jacquemus paired with a floral train covered in rose appliqués.
And in 2022, he wore a long khaki coat with puff sleeves by Burberry.
Bad Bunny, who kicked off 2025 with his latest acclaimed album, DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS, is about to have a busy rest of the year. He’s set to headline a residency in Puerto Rico, performing 30 shows from July to September. After that, he’ll commence his DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS World Tour, which will run from November to January 2026. He’ll be making stops in cities around the globe including Buenos Aires, Sydney, Tokyo, Madrid, London, Paris, Stockholm, and many more.
“It’s gonna be like a huge party. There’s going to be a lot of feeling, a lot of energy…. It’s going to be very special and unique show,” he told Vogue on the carpet.
But while he takes over stages around the world, he continues to passionately stand up for his homeland of Puerto Rico, especially through his lyrics.
“Every time that I express myself about something, I do it because I feel it. It’s not because I’m Bad Bunny and I have 40 million followers and I want to—no,” he told The New York Times in January. “I’m a normal human being and I have feelings and I get mad and I get happy and that’s how I make my music. Sometimes you want to cry, sometimes you want to dance, sometimes you want to fall in love and sometimes you want to talk about political things. That’s how it works: Everything that I say and everything that I do is because I feel it, not because I feel a pressure to say something because I’m a public figure.”
