Ayo Edebiri knows a funky little white dress is always a good idea.
The actor was amongst the throngs of stars who walked the blue carpet at the Disney Upfront presentation (where the company showed a display of everything it has to offer against its competitors) held in New York City this Tuesday evening. For the occasion, Edebiri pulled a look straight from the Hodakova Fall/Winter 2025 ready-to-wear runway.
The piece looked a little like a luxurious duvet wrapped around Edebiri’s body—not that there is anything wrong with that. (The duvet coat is, after all, still very much trending.)
The midi dress is made of a thick, lustrous material in electric white. It has a high neckline, no sleeves, and a ruched bodice. But the hem of the piece is where things get really interesting, as it seems to be tucked inwards, like it wants to lure the dress’ wearer into a cozy sleep.
Styled by Danielle Goldberg, the Bear star wore the dress simply with glossy black pumps and small, twisted silver hoop earrings. Her hair was styled in voluminous natural curls.
Goldberg is behind some of Edebiri’s most fabulous looks, including the scoop-neck black dress and chocker the actor wore to Saturday Night Live’s 50th anniversary show, and the red T-shirt and layered skirt fit from LII that she wore last month. Edebiri is not one to over-accessorize; she tends to keep things minimal with her style, but certainly never boring.
