Well, that didn’t take long!
New series Anne Rice’s Talamasca — the third in AMC’s Anne Rice TV universe — has already revealed its first crossover with Interview With the Vampire.
Eric Bogosian, who plays journalist Daniel Molloy on Interview With the Vampire, surprised Comic-Con attendees in Ballroom 20 on Saturday to announce that his character will appear in AMC’s newest Rice series. He will guest star in the upcoming season, which takes place after Daniel published his book and was turned into a vampire, making him very interesting to the Talamasca.
Bogosian’s debut on Talamasca is teased at the very end of the just-released teaser trailer. Watch the video below:
New series Talamasca is not based on any one Rice book, but rather expands on the secretive society featured across the author’s works of the men and women who track and contain the witches, vampires, and other creatures scattered around the globe. The group was first mentioned onscreen in Interview With the Vampire season 2 with the introduction of Raglan James (Justin Kirk).
