Amber Heard has her “dream family” with kids Oonagh, Ocean and Agnes.
On May 11, the Aquaman star announced on Instagram that she had welcomed twins — Ocean and Agnes — who joined their big sister, Oonagh Paige. A spokesperson for Heard told PEOPLE that she was “delighted to welcome the twins and complete her family.”
“Mama and babies are enjoying every minute,” Heard’s spokesperson continued. “And Oonagh is happily running the show.”
Oonagh was born in April 2021, amid Heard’s years-long legal battle with her ex-husband Johnny Depp, whom she accused of domestic abuse (Depp denied the claims and sued her in a defamation case, which he won).
But during a June 2022 interview with Today‘s Savannah Guthrie, following the end of the trial, the actress made it clear she was putting her focus toward motherhood: “I get to be a mom, like, full time, you know? Where I’m not having to juggle calls with lawyers.”
When asked about what she will one day tell her daughter about what she had been through, Heard replied, “I think no matter what, it will mean something. I did the right thing. I did everything I could to stand up for myself and the truth.”
Here’s everything to know about Amber Heard’s kids: Oonagh, Ocean and Agnes.

On April 8, 2021, Heard became a first-time mom when she welcomed her daughter, Oonagh Paige, whom she calls her “mini me.”
After keeping it quiet for months, the Pineapple Express actress announced the news on Instagram in July — and explained her decision to have a child on her “own terms.”
“Four years ago, I decided I wanted to have a child. I wanted to do it on my own terms. I now appreciate how radical it is for us as women to think about one of the most fundamental parts of our destinies in this way,” she captioned the post. “I hope we arrive at a point in which it’s normalized to not want a ring in order to have a crib.”
Although the actress hasn’t publicly acknowledged how she chose her daughter’s moniker, Oonagh’s middle name is seemingly a tribute to Heard’s late mother, Paige Heard.
Since she was born, Heard has shared many glimpses of Oonagh on social media, including mother-daughter workouts and sweet birthday tributes.
In 2022, after her defamation trial with Depp concluded, Heard and Oonagh moved from California to Spain for a fresh start.

On May 11, 2025, Heard announced that she had welcomed twins: son Ocean and daughter Agnes.
PEOPLE confirmed that Heard was expecting in December 2024, when a rep for the actress shared that she was “delighted” to be expanding her family.
“It is still quite early in the pregnancy, so you will appreciate that we do not want to go into much detail at this stage,” Heard’s rep said. “Suffice to say that Amber is delighted both for herself and Oonagh Paige.”
Heard announced the twins’ birth on Mother’s Day, writing, “Today I officially share the news that I welcomed twins into the Heard gang.”
“Mother’s Day 2025 will be one I’ll never forget. This year I am elated beyond words to celebrate the completion of the family I’ve strived to build for years,” she wrote. “My daughter Agnes and my son Ocean are keeping my hands (and my heart) full.”
“When I had my first baby girl Oonagh four years ago, my world changed forever. I thought I couldn’t possibly burst with more joy,” Heard continued. “Well, now I am bursting times three!!!”
Much like when she welcomed Oonagh, the actress opened up about becoming a mother on her “own terms,” saying that it has been the “most humbling experience” of her life.
“I am eternally grateful that I was able to choose this responsibly and thoughtfully,” Heard added. “To all the moms, wherever you are today and however you got here, my dream family and I are celebrating with you.”
