Don’t call it a comeback, but bleached eyebrows have been making a major return among a new generation of It girls.
After stars including Kim Kardashian, Lizzo, Julia Fox and more experimented with peroxide-blonde brows 2022 — only to return to their natural color shortly thereafter — more celebs have revived the less-is-more look as of late.
Take Joey King, for example, who switched up her signature brown arches for nearly invisible blonde strands in January 2025. She debuted the futuristic look via Instagram, where BFFs including Sabrina Carpenter and Noah Cyrus (who also sports bleached brows) praised her new beauty move.
“Rude to look this good without eyebrows,” Carpenter wrote, as Cyrus added, “THIS IS YOUR LOOK.”
Besides King, Alix Earle briefly rocked bleached brows in May 2024 for an 11-hour photoshoot for the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit digital issue. She teased the look via TikTok before revealing she would star as the first-ever digital cover model for SI Swimsuit.
