Jenna Bush Hager Cries on Live TV After Family Night Out originally appeared on Parade.

Earlier this week, Today host Jenna Bush Hager attended the Gracie Abrams concert with her husband, Henry Chase Hager, and their three kids, Mila, 12, Poppy, 9, and Hal, 5. The fun family night ended up being very emotional for the former first daughter.

“We were out on the town,” Bush Hager told her co-host Tyra Banks on the July 30 episode of Jenna and Friends. “Obviously, my oldest is going into middle school. For whatever reason, we sat down, and — think about how embarrassing this is as a child — and just seeing how excited they were for her, I started crying. I was like, this is so beautiful, to see this concert through their eyes.”

Bush Hager went on to say that she started to think that her daughter is growing up fast and will soon be going to concerts with her friends — and not her mom.

“I just was thinking, like, time is going so fast, and she’ll sit next to me and hold my hand a little,” she added.

Bush Hager has been making headlines quite a bit lately. Aside from launching her brand new publishing company called Thousand Voices Books, the mom of three has also had a couple of noteworthy on-air moments.
