More than 25 years after Adam Sandler met wife Jackie Titone Sandler on the set of Big Daddy in 1999, the couple still have fun working together.
Most recently, Jackie appeared in Happy Gilmore 2, which began streaming on Netflix on July 25. At the premiere, Adam told PEOPLE that they’ve always had chemistry both on and off screen when they “lock in” eye contact, even if they aren’t playing love interests in the movie.
“Sometimes it looks a little weird that we’re falling in love and it doesn’t make sense to our characters,” he said. “But we do have a nice attraction for each other.”
Though Jackie began her career as a model, she’s since moved on to acting and producing and has worked with her husband on several films since their wedding on June 22, 2003.

She started her career as a model
Born on Sept. 24, 1974, in Coral Springs, Fla., Jackie (née Jackie Titone) began modeling in high school. She made her acting debut in 1999 when she played Sally in Rob Schneider’s film Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo.
She met Adam on the set of Big Daddy
Adam reportedly met Jackie on the set of the 1999 hit Big Daddy, where she portrayed a waitress in the local sports bar.
In 2020, the actor shared a touching tribute to his wife on Instagram to celebrate the anniversary of the day they met. “22 years ago today we locked eyes and fell deep,” Adam wrote alongside a throwback image of him and Jackie. “Looking forward to the next 22, young lady. Love you my forever girl.”
She and Adam have been married since 2003

On June 22, 2003, the couple tied the knot in an outdoor Jewish ceremony at Dick Clark’s oceanfront Malibu estate. Following the wedding, PEOPLE reported there was one special guest in attendance alongside the couple’s celebrity friends: Adam’s dog, Meatball, who donned a black tuxedo jacket for the big event.
Jennifer Aniston, Rodney Dangerfield and Sharon Osbourne were also among the 400 guests that celebrated the couple’s nuptials.
Adam and Jackie celebrated 20 years of marriage in June 2023.
“Happy 20th my sweet Jackie! Your ‘I do’ was the best gift of my life,” the Murder Mystery 2 actor wrote on Instagram alongside a throwback photo from the couple’s wedding. “My heart has been yours since the first second I saw you and I love and appreciate your devoted soul more and more each day.”
Adam continued: “Us. The kids. Lets keep going and going babe. Lots of love to give you. Always.”
She and Adam have two daughters

The couple welcomed their first child, daughter Sadie, in May 2006. Adam announced the newborn’s arrival on his website, writing, “Kid is healthy!! Wife is healthy!!”
Jackie and Adam later welcomed a second daughter, Sunny, in November 2008. The girls have appeared in a few of their father’s films, including Hubie Halloween, Hotel Transylvania and Murder Mystery. In 2023, the family teamed up for the Netflix comedy You Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah.
Jackie has also made cameos in her husband’s movies, including 50 First Dates, Grown Ups, The Wrong Missy and Hubie Halloween.
In November 2022, Sandler received the Film Tribute Award at the Gotham Awards in New York City. The actor claimed that he was “too busy” to write a speech, so he let his teenage daughters craft one for him. The hilarious speech, which was more of a roast, ended with a shout-out to their mom.
“Thank you mommy for putting up with daddy and his crazy f—ing mood swings all these years,” Sandler read to the audience. “Now that truly is a feat deserving of a lifetime achievement award.”
In February 2024, Adam, Jackie and Sadie were spotted at a Los Angeles Lakers game. The trio sat courtside as they watched their home team face off against the Denver Nuggets.
She encouraged Adam to take the role in 2019’s Uncut Gems
Adam was honored with the best actor award for his role in Uncut Gems at the 2020 National Board of Review Gala. But he couldn’t accept all the credit, as it was Jackie who encouraged him to take the role in the first place.
“My badass wife, she gave me the balls to take the part,” Adam said of Jackie during the event. “I was scared and she said, ”Go f— do that” and ‘You can do that s—‘ and we rehearsed together all the time.”
She’s friends with Jennifer Aniston
Jackie has become good friends with some of Adam’s famous costars, including Jennifer Aniston, who appeared alongside the comedian in 2011’s Just Go With It and 2019’s Murder Mystery.

“[Jennifer] and my wife have a nice time tag-teaming to try to make me a healthier human being,” Adam told The Hollywood Reporter in December 2021. “Like, they want me to stretch more — eventually be able to touch my toes, which I’m about 9 inches away from.”
While speaking with Access Hollywood, Adam also revealed that Jackie isn’t bothered by her husband’s onscreen romance with Aniston — in fact, she encourages him to give it his all.
“Jennifer is one of my closest friends and Jackie’s closest friends. So, she’s like ‘Would you give Jennifer some sort of good time with that kiss please?’ ” he said.
On March 19, 2023, Sandler was honored with the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor at the Kennedy Center Concert Hall in Washington D.C. Both Jackie and Aniston were in attendance.
“I would like to celebrate the real Adam,” Jackie said during her speech. “The Pepto Bismol-chugging … air conditioning-blasting … backyard-peeing … disrupter. And, yes, he’s just as funny in real life as he is in the movies … And he’s just as good in bed as you’ve all imagined for so long. Adam, whether you’re awake or not, it’s always fantastic.”
Aniston talked about her friendship with the Sandlers during an August 2023 interview with WSJ. Magazine. The actress, who has opened up about past infertility struggles and IVF attempts, said that the couple honor her each year on Mother’s Day by sending flowers.

In a cover story for AARP The Magazine, Adam revealed his “secret” to a good marriage.
“Jackie and I like spending time with each other,” he said. “We try to make each other laugh, try to listen, try to include each other, try to support each other. We try our best — that’s all. And we don’t ever think of not being together. We always talk about our future together.”

In February 2023, Jackie and Adam attended the SAG Awards in Los Angeles. The mom-of-two stunned in a plunging red dress, while the 50 First Dates star looked handsome in a black suit and bow tie. Sandler was nominated for outstanding performance by a male actor in a leading role for his performance in Hustle.
Jackie also joined Adam on the red carpet at the New York City premiere of his Netflix comedy special, Love You, in August 2024, and was by his side (and showing off some PDA) when they walked the red carpet at the SNL50: The Homecoming Concert at Radio City Music Hall in February 2025.
Most recently, Jackie and the couple’s two daughters joined Sandler at the premiere of Happy Gilmore 2 in July 2025.

The whole Sandler crew appeared in the August 2023 Netflix filmYou Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah — an adaptation of author Fiona Rosenbloom’s 2005 novel of the same name.
In the flick, Sunny stars as Stacy Friedman, Sadie appears as Stacy’s sister Ronnie, Adam plays their father and Jackie appears as Gabi, the mother of Stacy’s best friend.
The Sandlers also voiced characters in Netflix’s animated movie Leo, which premiered in November 2023.
In 2025, Jackie and Sandy made a cameo in Amy Schumer’s comedy Kinda Pregnant, which was produced by Adam. The whole family also appears in Happy Gilmore 2.
