Despite persistent speculation about a rift with her costar, Aimee Lou Wood doesn’t have anything bad to say about Walton Goggins.
The two White Lotus season 3 stars walked the carpet at the 2025 Met Gala on Monday, May 5 — as did their costars Patrick Schwarzenegger and Lisa. And when Wood, 31, was asked about Goggins, 53, who played her star-crossed lover onscreen, she gushed.
Entertainment Tonight asked the actress if she was planning to make a cameo on Saturday Night Live this weekend as Goggins makes his hosting debut, and she said she is “not doing that” but that doesn’t mean she’s against the idea.

“Yeah, why not? Why not?” she said when asked if she’d be interested in appearing on the show with Goggins. “Yeah, it would be fun.”
She added of her costar, who fans have speculated she’s been feuding with since the April 6 finale aired and the two unfollowed each other on Instagram, “I loved working with Walton. It was the best thing ever.”

Wood’s comments on working with Goggins come after fans noticed hours before the Met Gala that the actors have begun following each other on Instagram again, a move that came after the Fallout star ended an interview with The Times early after he was questioned about his former costar.
“I’m not gonna have that conversation,” Goggins told the reporter when asked about his and Wood’s Instagram activity, and his two publicists also shut down the topic.
“We’re not going there, thank you,” one said and the other told the reporter, “Next question.”

The topic of SNL‘s White Lotus-inspired sketch, which Wood called “mean and unfunny,” also came up in the interview, and Goggins said, “There is no conversation to be had about that. Sharing politics on social media — it’s in a vacuum.”
The interview was ultimately cut short, with one of the actor’s publicists telling the reporter, “We’re going to end it there,” after he again asked Goggins about Wood.
“What the f—?” was the actor’s reply. “Come on, buddy. Wow.”

Following the SNL drama, Sarah Sherman, who portrayed Wood’s White Lotus character in the sketch, sent her flowers, which the actress shared on her Instagram Stories as a public message of thanks.
The olive branch came after Wood had said the sketch was a “shame cuz I had such a great time watching [SNL] a couple weeks ago.”
“Yes, take the piss for sure — that’s what the show is about — but there must be a cleverer, more nuanced, less cheap way?” she wrote on her Stories in response to the sketch.
