Julianne Moore and Sydney Sweeney are exploring the dark, unbreakable depths of a mother-daughter bond in an eerie first look at Echo Valley.

Apple TV+ has released the trailer for their “edge-of-your-seat thriller” costarring Domhnall Gleeson, which sees Moore, 64, as Kate, “a mother struggling to make peace with her troubled daughter Claire (Sweeney, 27),” per an official synopsis.

The situation between Kate and Claire “becomes even more perilous when Claire shows up on Kate’s doorstep, hysterical and covered in someone else’s blood,” the synopsis adds.

“As Kate pieces together the shocking truth of what happened, she learns just how far a mother will go to try to save her child in this gripping tale of love, sacrifice and survival,” it concludes.

The trailer opens with Claire showing up on Kate’s doorstep soaking wet as a thunderstorm rages outside, shivering as she declares, “I need help.”

“You’re bleeding?” Kate asks after seeing the blood on her crying daughter’s shirt — and when Claire doesn’t answer, Kate says, “Okay, calm down. Breathe.”

Claire eventually confesses to her mother that she hit her boyfriend with a rock during an argument, but noted that no one saw her.

“Go upstairs, and don’t leave your bedroom till I come back,” Kate tells her daughter — before she drives the wrapped-up dead body to a secluded area and dumps it in a body of water.

Gleeson’s character Jackie soon shows up and claims he knows Claire, the latter of whom warns Kate, “Stay away from him, Mom, he’s crazy!”

“Hey, Claire, why would you say that about a close friend?!” asks Jackie.

Questions soon arise about what Claire’s true nature and intentions might be, though, as her father Richard (Kyle McLachlan) tells Kate that their daughter is an “addict” who will “show up, put on that smile, and you’ll give her anything she wants.”

The situation continues to spiral until Claire asks her mother, “What did you do?”

“I took care of it,” Kate replies. “All of it.”

Echo Valley is directed by BAFTA winner Michael Pearce, and written by Emmy nominee Brad Ingelsby (Mare of Easttown). It costars Fiona Shaw, Edmund Donovan and Albert Jones.

Producers include Ingelsby, Ridley Scott, Michael Pruss and Kevin J. Walsh, with executive producers Ted Deiker, Scott Greenberg, Erika Olde, Sam Roseme, Nicole Jordan-Webber and Rebecca Feuer.

Echo Valley premieres June 13 on Apple TV+.
