Reba McEntire is gearing up for next week’s Music City Rodeo event—and fortunately, she’s already in the rodeo spirit.
Beginning on Thursday, May 29, Music City Rodeo in Nashville will be putting on a professional rodeo followed by some very special country performances over the weekend, and McEntire, for one, is already prepared to show off her country fashion as she hits the rodeo stage.

On Friday, May 23, the “Fancy” singer shared a throwback photo of herself dressed head-to-toe in a country outfit, featuring a silk pink A-line dress with a gold tasseled vest, a hot pink cowgirl hat, and of course, a pair of matching pink boots.
“You know what they say…if you stay rodeo ready, you don’t have to get rodeo ready!” McEntire, 70, captioned her Instagram post, while asking her followers if they’ve already picked out their rodeo ‘fits.

“I’m so ready for this!!! 🙌,” one user wrote under McEntire’s post, adding, “love this throwback !!!❤️”
“Oh my goodness wear this outfit please!” someone else begged McEntire, who will be performing on the first day of the three-day rodeo event, followed by performances from fellow country stars Jelly Roll and Tim McGraw on Friday and Saturday, respectively.
“Fantastic throwback,” one user added under McEntire’s post, while another commenter called the photo simply “iconic.”
