Deadline recently revealed the first image of Cage as the titular character in the flick.

On Reddit, fans reacted to the glimpse of Cage as the iconic NFL coach, with one user declaring, “I’ll watch a football related movie for Cage.”

“Can’t wait for this!” another shared via X.

Someone else on X predicted, “Going to win the Oscar for best picture!”

Yet another commented, “I think the acting should be terrific. Cage is good and working with Bale should help take him to another level. Christian Bale is one of the best actors of our generation.”

In addition to Cage and Bale, Madden’s cast includes John Mulaney as EA founder Trip Hawkins, Kathryn Hahn as Virginia Madden and Sienna Miller as Carol Davis. A premiere date for the film, directed by David O. Russell, has not yet been announced.
