Dolly Parton loves a good throwback. She recently posted an old photo of herself all dolled up with her hair larger than life. “Everyone has their own ideas of how they look best, and in my world, I always wanted to be glamorous.✨” she captioned the photo on Instagram.
The glamour shot features Dolly’s signature sparkly, colorful makeup, with a warm berry lip, blush angled down her cheekbones, and a mix between a golden and smoky eye. She’s got on what looks to be a diamond earring and a lace turtleneck blouse. Her hair, of course, is sky high.

The “9 to 5” singer pulled off the voluminous look so well, some fans felt inspired to tell the “Jolene” singer that they loved the style.
“k Im bring back the hair, unironically. Looking iconic Queen,” wrote one person on Instagram.
“🔥👏👏😂 the hairstyle from the past, it was a beautiful style,” commented another.
