The Irwin family is in Las Vegas for a special cause.
On May 9, Bindi Irwin shared new photos on Instagram of herself with mom Terri and brother Robert in Las Vegas as they prepared to attend the Steve Irwin Gala on May 10 in honor of her late father, Steve Irwin.
“Khaki by day — Bellagio chic by night! ✨ Here in #LasVegas for the #SteveIrwinGala raising funds and awareness for Wildlife Warriors,” Bindi, 26, wrote in the caption. “Supporting conservation and remembering Dad’s extraordinary legacy. Enormous gratitude to everyone for your support as we continue to do all that we can to protect wildlife and wild places for the future generations.”
In the first photo, Bindi posed with mom Terri, 60, and brother Robert, 21, in front of a row of buildings overlooking a waterfront in Las Vegas as they each wore matching khaki Australia Zoo conversation shirts.

The family were snapped in a following photo in dress clothes as they posed arm-in-arm in front a balcony at night in front of a lit-up water display. Bindi wore a printed white dress, while Terri wore a black top and floral-print skirt and Robert sported a black T-shirt and jeans.
Terri shared the same photo on Instagram on May 10, as she wrote, “Tonight is the night! The Steve Irwin Gala, raising funds and awareness for wildlife conservation @bellagio in Las Vegas.”
“Thanks to everyone joining us to honour Steve’s legacy,” she added of her late husband.
The Steve Irwin Gala is an annual event that takes place in Brisbane, Australia, and Las Vegas honoring Steve’s conservation work and passion for wildlife. The Crocodile Hunter star died at age of 44 in 2006 when he was struck by a stingray barb off the coast of northern Australia.

In February, Bindi said losing her father at such a young age left “a scar on [my] heart” while speaking about his death on the A Life of Greatness podcast.
“I remember when I was little and dad had just died and every adult I saw would say to me, ‘Time heals all wounds’ and I remember thinking, ‘what in the heck does that mean?’ ” the wildlife conservationist said.
”Now, at 26, that information is wrong … time changes your grief, time changes your perspective … That feeling is just a part of me, its like a scar on your heart,” Bindi added.
