While everyone else (Harry Styles) was busy waiting for white smoke to come out of the Conclave Chimney, Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet were busy making their red carpet debut at the 70th David Di Donatello Awards in Rome. I mean, there’s no way you missed the pics, but just in case:
But you might have missed footage from inside the venue, where Timothée has been accused of swerving Kylie’s attempt to give him a second kiss after he was announced as winner of the David Award for Cinematic Excellence.
Okay, yes, a little awkward. But definitely not intentional so the internet can probably move on.
FYI that Kylie and Timmy’s red carpet debut comes just days after he chose to skip the Met Gala. In case you’ve been wondering why Kylie walked alone, a source told the Daily Mail that Timothée was busy watching a Knicks game (priorities!).
“Timothée did consider going to the Met Gala, but he is a huge Knicks fan and Kylie knows this,” the insider said. “Kylie didn’t bother him to go with her and that’s something he appreciates about her. She allows him to do his own thing. They didn’t want to do the whole song and dance of it all together because it would have felt more like a chore over a fun date night.”
They added, “If it was Kylie’s first Met Gala or an event where she was being honored for something then he would have been there 100 percent, but they decided to do their own thing. And with the Knicks’ performance, Timothée was ecstatic that he watched the game.”
