The Miami Heat secured a decisive 128-97 win over the Atlanta Hawks on Friday, with Tyler Herro making a strong return from a rib injury, scoring 24 points.

The Miami Heat never trailed in their 128-97 victory over the Atlanta Hawks on Friday night, thanks in part to the return of Tyler Herro, who scored 24 points after missing 15 games due to a rib injury. Bam Adebayo contributed 17 points, eight rebounds, and five assists, while Norman Powell added 15 points in his first game since participating in his first All-Star game. Kel’el Ware had a notable performance with 14 points and 12 rebounds.

For the Atlanta Hawks, Jalen Johnson achieved his 11th triple-double of the season, leading the team with 16 points, 16 rebounds, and 11 assists. This marks the most triple-doubles in a single season in franchise history and currently leads the Eastern Conference. Oneka Okongwu led the Hawks with 22 points, and CJ McCollum contributed 20 points off the bench, including four 3-pointers.

Herro, who has also dealt with ankle and toe injuries this season, played his 12th game and showed no signs of restriction, scoring 16 points in the first half. His return and the team’s performance have been crucial, as the Heat have won six of their last seven road games.

Upcoming Games

The Heat are set to host the Memphis Grizzlies on Saturday, while the Hawks will host the Brooklyn Nets on Sunday.
