Kelly Clarkson brought her powerhouse pipes to a New York City bar! On Thursday, Feb. 19, Clarkson, John Legend, and Druski came together for a night of karaoke at Baby Grand in New York City. The Voice coaches and the internet personality sang the night away to promote the competition show’s 29th season, dubbed The Voice: Battle of Champions. The show’s host, Carson Daly, was also in attendance to cheer them on.

The trio each took turns in the spotlight, with Druski singing Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believin’,” Legend rapping “Drop It Like It’s Hot,” and Clarkson singing “I Will Survive” by Tina Turner.

As he took center stage to perform Snoop Dogg’s 2004 hit, Legend joked that he only raps when he does karaoke. All three performed Bonnie Tyler’s love song “Total Eclipse of the Heart.”

For season 29 of The Voice, titled The Voice: Battle of Champions, Clarkson, Legend, and Adam Levine return to their red chairs for an all-star round of the singing competition.

In the trailer for the upcoming season, Legend says, “It’s the battle of champions for a reason.”

“I’m the first coach ever to win the show,” Levine, 46, says, as Clarkson notes, “But I have won the most!”

The landmark season will take on a new format as it will be “infused with fast-paced, competitive elements, delivering a fresh twist on the format that raises the stakes for coaches and artists alike,” according to NBC.

Each coach will have 10 artists on their team. The artists returning for season 29 include Girl Named Tom and Jake Hoot for Clarkson, Maelyn Jarmon and Renzo for Legend, and Javier Colon and Jordan Smith for Levine.
