The Baby-Sitters Club inspired fans to run their own day camps, form lifelong friendships and become mini entrepreneurs — and decades later, viewers are still enthralled with the cast.
The 1995 film, which is based on the Baby-Sitters Club books, follows the lives of seven middle school–aged girls who create a daycare camp for kids. The books also inspired a short-lived TV show in 1990, and in July 2020, Netflix revived the series.
However, it’s the 1995 movie that has stood the test of time — and the stars of the beloved classic couldn’t be more grateful for their part in it.
“I’m so close with them,” star Schuyler Fisk exclusively told Us Weekly in June 2024, noting, “Anytime we’re all in the same city, we all try and get together.” She also teased that the cast has “talked about” doing a sequel but said it hasn’t come to “fruition yet.”
