Katy Perry Shares a Rare Glimpse of 4-Year-Old Daughter Daisy originally appeared on Parade.
Like most influential celebrities, Katy Perry has seldom mentioned her four-year-old daughter Daisy in interviews or over social media, preferring instead to keep her child a resonable distance away from the public spotlight.
But in a recent Instagram post, the 40-year-old pop singer offered fans a quick glimpse at her and her former fiancé Orlando Bloom’s adorable toddler, captioning her post with the comment, “We continue to be on tour.”
The post in question sees Perry engaging in a variety of activities, from riding her bike in the first image to humorously snacking on some popcorn on stage.
Among the various images posted to Instagram, the former American Idol host also included a snapshot of four-year-old Daisy looking out from a high-rise window, her face and hands pressed to the glass in apparent wonder.
In a video attached to the singer’s post, Daisy also stages a mini puppet show with a stuffed lion, the four-year-old singing from behind the red curtain as she mimes the puppet’s voice.
Perry gave birth to her daughter on August 26, 2020, roughly four years into her on-again, off-again relationship with The Lord of the Rings star, Orlando Bloom.
Though they were engaged since February 2019, multiple media outlets reported that the couple separated for good this past June. More recently, Perry has been seen in the company of former Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau, sparking various rumors about their apparent relationship together.
Over the past few months, Perry has been hard at work traveling abroad as part of her recent “Lifetimes Tour.” The pop star’s first major tour since “Witness,” the concert series first started in April 23 of this year, with the final scheduled performer set to take place on December 7.
The tour includes a variety of songs from Perry’s seventh album, 143, along with plenty of familiar favorites from the pop singer’s earlier career.
