Beyoncé‘s partnership with Levi’s is still going strong, with a new commercial dropping this week that has the music world turning heads.
In the ad posted Aug. 4, the Grammy winner, 43, is seen donning her usual denim attire, but the video closes in remarkable fashion. Instead of departing the location in focus on a horse — which is consistent with her latest country album Cowboy Carter — Beyoncé speeds off on a motorcycle.
The global superstar’s loyal fanbase, known as the Beyhive, quickly took to social media to point out what the commercial’s conclusion might signify, as Billboard reported.
“Beyoncé arrived on a horse and left on a motorcycle,” one person wrote on X. “The visual storytelling is real. It’s being made clear that we are on the road to rock with ACT III.”
“ACT III,” for those not familiar with her latest music, refers to the trilogy-in-progress Beyoncé had started of late — first with the acclaimed album Renaissance, followed by Cowboy Carter, which finally won the singer-songwriter and actress her first Grammy Award for Album of the Year.
In reference to the latest Levi’s ad, another X user wrote, “She comes in on a horse, leaves on a motorcycle. Just confirms this photo is the act III tease. It’s rock.”
Late last month, Beyoncé officially claimed the title for highest-grossing country tour of all time with her Cowboy Carter Tour, raking in $407.6 million across 32 shows. According to Billboard’s Boxscore, the tour sold 1.6 million tickets, stopping in only nine cities worldwide before wrapping up in Las Vegas on July 26.
At the final stop in Vegas, Beyoncé surprised fans on stage with her Destiny’s Child sisters, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams. Wearing coordinating outfits that echoed their early-2000s era, the trio strutted down the catwalk in full formation as they performed “Lose My Breath.” Their throwback choreography had the crowd roaring made headlines soon following.
