HGTV stars Jonathan and Drew Scotthad playful responses to singerTaylor Swift‘s big announcement that she will be releasing her 12th album, titled Life of a Showgirl, on October 3, 2025.
A day after Swift announced her upcoming project on her boyfriend Chiefs player Travis Kelce‘s podcast, New Heights, co-hosted by Jason Kelce, Drew took to his Instagram account. The Celebrity IOU star shared several pictures of himself dressed as a Las Vegas showgirl from an episode of Brothers Vs. Brothers Season 4. Drew had to wear the bold, feathered outfit because he lost a competition against his brother.
“The life of a showgirl… I know it all too well 😉,” read the caption of Drew’s post, in reference to both Swift’s new album and her song, “All Too Well.”
Several fans took to the post’s comments section to share that they appreciated the August 14 upload.
“Not what I was expecting to see in my IG feed today 😂,” wrote a commenter.
“Omg !!!! Love it lol miss you guys,” added another.
“Wow! Those are beautiful legs @mrdrewscott,” shared a different person.
Jonathan also posted an Instagram upload in response to Swift’s new album. He shared an image of himself wearing a tutu while covered in glitter. The background behind him read, “The Life of a Girl Dad,” seemingly referencing his relationship with his fiancee,Zooey Deschanel‘s daughter, Elsie Otter, fathered by her ex-husband, Jacob Pechenik.
“Album out October 3rd 😉,” wrote Jonathan in the caption of his August 14 post.
While recording the August 13 New Heights podcast episode, Swift shared that the upcoming album was written while she was on her Eras Tour. The singer explained that “This album is about what’s going on behind the scenes in [her] inner life during this tour, which was so exuberant and electric and vibrant.”
She also said the album will have 12 songs.
“I wanted to do an album that is so focused on quality and on the theme and everything to fit together like a perfect puzzle that these 12 songs for my 12th album, I feel like we achieved that. And I’m really happy about that,” said Swift while speaking to the Kelce brothers.
