If you missed David Gilmour’s 2024 Luck and Strange shows in New York or Los Angeles, you’re in luck.
On Wednesday, September 17, the legendary Pink Floyd guitarist, 79, will release a new concert film, Live at the Circus Maximus, Rome, in theaters and IMAX worldwide.
Ticket sales for the highly anticipated feature begin on Wednesday, August 6, at 2:00 p.m. BST/9:00 a.m. EDT at his official website.

On Friday, October 17, Live at the Circus Maximus, Rome will be released on Blu-ray, DVD, and CD alongside The Luck and Strange Concerts, a companion film featuring 23 songs from the full tour. The standard package includes a 24-page book, while a super deluxe box set offers 11 discs, a 120-page book, stickers, postcards, and a poster.
Before the Luck and Strange tour, Gilmour hadn’t performed live since 2016. Upon returning to the stage, he crafted a setlist that highlighted both his solo work and standout songs from his time leading Pink Floyd.
Initially hesitant to revisit material from the Roger Waters era, Gilmour ultimately acquiesced.
“One has to wake up to reality once in a while. I think I will be doing one or two things from that time, but it just seems so long ago,” Gilmour told Rolling Stone during a 2024 interview. “I know people love them, and I love playing them. I’ll be doing ‘Wish You Were Here,’ of course, I will. And some of the things that started with me anyway.”
