While Kevin candidly shared that he has lied to his daughters, Nick and Joe reveal that they try to steer away from lying as much as possible
The Jonas Brothers are revealing some of the “alternative truths” they tell their daughters.
In an exclusive clip shared with PEOPLE ahead of the new episode of Mythical Kitchen’s Last Meals, Nick, Kevin, and Joe Jonas sat down with host Josh Scherer to talk about their new album Greetings From Your Hometown and their 20th anniversary tour. During the conversation, the brothers opened up about their lives as fathers, with Kevin revealing that he recently had to lie to his daughters about marshmallow fluff.
“My kids just discovered fluff,” said Kevin, who shares his two daughters, Valentina, 8, and Alena, 11, with Danielle Jonas.
“It’s dangerous, … but that’s a one and done,” he added of the marshmallow creme. “They don’t sell it anymore, is what I’m going with.”

When asked how often the girl dads lie to their children, the Happiness Begins artists shared their thoughts on lying and parenthood.
“I try not to lie to them at all,” Nick, 32, replied, before Kevin, 37, quickly shared, “I lied a lot.”
“There are times you have to sort of give an alternate truth, [or] a different path,” said Nick, who shares his daughter Malti, 3, with wife Priyanka Chopra Jonas. “Because, you know, it’s not a big enough thing to have the house crumble, but just little, like bribing a 3½ year old to get off the iPad is a thing. It takes a lot of focus and self-belief.”
Echoing his brother Nick’s thoughts, Joe, 35, explained his thoughts on lying to his daughters Delphine, 3, and Willa, 5, whom he shares with ex-wife Sophie Turner.
“I try not to,” Joe said of lying. “I mean, they’re not watching this, but you know, there’s a few characters that we all get presents from that they may think exist. That would be a healthy fib, I think.”
