Kelly Rutherford and her son Hermés are enjoying an evening out together.
The Gossip Girl alum, 56, was photographed alongside her 18-year-old model son Hermés as the two attended the Summer Gala by Gala One in Saint-Tropez, France, on Thursday, July 24. In the picture, Rutherford could be seen wearing a one-shoulder white dress with a white overlay, posing next to her son.

In June, Rutherford and her son Hermés posed together while appearing on the cover of Harper’s Bazaar Netherlands.
In the photographs, Hermés appeared shirtless as he reclined alongside his mom in the grass, resting his head on her stomach. Rutherford looked stylish in matching pants and a blanket draped around her.
In the interview, Rutherford discussed “career, motherhood and nature,” according to a teaser on Instagram. She also shared tips on styling a wardrobe ahead of the summer.

Their photoshoot came years after the conclusion of a contentious custody battle between Rutherford and her ex-husband over Hermés and their daughter Helena.
The actress and Daniel, a German businessman, married in 2005 and welcomed their son a year later. However, they divorced in 2009 while Rutherford was pregnant with Helena.
What was initially an even split of custody changed in 2015 when Daniel was granted full custody of the kids, who were then 9 and 6 in Monaco. Rutherford was only able to visit her children in Monaco or France.

This came after Rutherford refused to put the children on a plane to return to Daniel after a visit to the United States earlier that year.
In 2024, Rutherford opened up about her life after the battle came to a close.
“Yes, it was a challenging time. It was a heartbreaking time. But I focus on the good most of the time, I really do,” she told PEOPLE. “I’m very thankful of where we are. I have a great relationship with my kids.”
She added, “We were never completely separated.”
