Alleged McDonald’s International Exclusive Divides American Fans: ‘Not a Good Plan’ originally appeared on Parade.
It’s a rarity to see McDonald’s fans uninterested in an international exclusive, but many American consumers are saying “no thanks” to the idea of an adult-focused Happy Meal that is reportedly hitting the menu at some Irish locations.
Food blogger Yumsight reported on the “unexpected twist” to the traditional children’s meal, which adds a pint of Guinness to certain nostalgic menu items for a limited time: a Big Mac or six Chicken McNuggets, plus fries and a collectible toy that’s designed for adults.
Per the foodstagrammer’s post, the launch is currently a Northern Ireland exclusive, but while fans typically beg to see the exclusivity change, this time around, fans are feeling a lot more concerned about the consequences of mixing alcohol and fast food.

Some were hype over the idea of an all-in-one meal, with one demanding to know, “Y tell us if it’s not in America???”
“Man I was hoping this was in America 😢,” another commenter lamented.
But more were concerned that the combination was “not a good plan,” with one suggesting that the “worst thing anyone can do is mix alcohol” with a fast food meal.
“There will be a few toilets tarmacked after that mess 🥵💩,” one quipped, while another called the combination “disrespectful to ya own body.”.
