The Gist
Ryan Destiny posed alongside Law Roach as she showed off a baby pink corset gown with a surreal, whimsical detail at the Schiaparelli Show on Monday, July 7.
The Grown-ish actress’s dress featured stilettos on her boobs and slits running all the way down her skirt.
Cardi B also stepped out in a head-turning Schiaparelli creation involving a live raven and sculptural, pearl-fringed shoulders.
Fashion designer Schiaparelli’s calling card is crafting wearable works of art, whether the historic fashion house is dressing Bella Hadid in a gilded breast plate inspired by tree roots, or wrapping Zendaya in a ruched skirt clasped with a 3-D fabric lobster. As the designer dressed the latest batch of It girls in its creations for Paris Fashion Week, Ryan Destiny stood out among the slew of celebrities in a sculptural corset gown that put her stilettos on her boobs.
Posing alongside stylist Law Roach on Monday, July 7, the Grown-ish actress turned heads with every angle of her blush pink dress. True to form, Schiaparelli’s signature surrealism came into play with the midi-length gown, while still playing into the dress’s classic Old Hollywood glamour. The form-fitting strapless dress featured a structured corseted bodice with visible boning that went all the way down to her hemline, as well as two matching baby pink silk stilettos that stuck out heel-first from the bra cups.

Taking the ultra-feminine silhouette one step further, Destiny’s Schiaparelli dress emphasized her hourglass shape with exaggerated hips that slightly jutted out from the bodice. The skirt featured slits running down each side, giving it a fringed effect that subtly flashed some skin.
