After nearly six decades of being metal’s most iconic frontman, Ozzy Osbourne is saying goodbye to the stage with one final concert, Back to the Beginning.

“It’s my time to go Back to the Beginning….time for me to give back to the place where I was born,” Osbourne said when he announced the event in February 2025. “How blessed am I to do it with the help of people whom I love. Birmingham is the true home of metal. Birmingham Forever.”

When is Ozzy Osbourne’s last concert?

Osbourne’s last concert is set to take place on Saturday, July 5, at Villa Park in Birmingham, England.

All profits for the all-day event will be evenly distributed between Cure Parkinson’s, Birmingham Children’s Hospital and Acorns Children’s Hospice, a Children’s Hospice supported by Aston Villa.

Osbourne previously shared his Parkinson’s diagnosis during an appearance on Good MorningAmerica in January 2020.

“It’s not a death sentence but it affects certain nerves in your body,” his wife Sharon Osbourne added. “You have a good day, a good day, then a really bad day.”

She continued, “He’s gone through all these operations, and the whole thing has felt like a nightmare. He hasn’t lost his sense of humor, but I look at my husband, and he’s here while everyone else is out on the road. This is the longest time he hasn’t ever worked for. Being at home for so long has been so foreign to him.”
