On Monday, the beloved TV personality took to Instagram with a video of her singing the Stephen Sondheim classic “Could I Leave You?” from the Broadway show “Follies.”
“Filling in here for Carol Burnett in the 1999 Broadway revue #PuttingItTogether honoring Sondheim!” she wrote.
Gifford, 71, who has always had a love of music, whether it be Broadway, Christmas, or country, referred to the moment as “One of the greatest experiences of my career.”

And course fans on Instagram were loving it.

In addition to fangirling over the former “Live” host’s singing abilities, social media users were also quick to comment on Gifford’s quintessential ’90s style, specifically her hair.

The show that Gifford was performing at, “Putting It Together,” was a Broadway show set to Sondheim’s iconic songs. The production starred Carol Burnett and George Hearn.
