Back-To-School Lunch Essentials
Fill up lunch boxes with affordable sides that kiddos and adults alike will enjoy. In the fruits and veggies department, the baby peeled carrots ($1.35) are among the cheapest we’ve seen sold anywhere and the Mandarin oranges are an excellent deal at $3.59 for three pounds.
Grab a bag of Clancy’s mini pretzel twists ($2.19 for one pound) and a 12-count pack of individually wrapped mozzarella sticks for $3.49. (That’s only 30 cents for each mozzarella stick, FYI.)

Aldi carries plenty of dormitory must-haves, from bedding to organizational tools, but we were most drawn to their selection of small kitchen appliances. The two-cup rice cooker ($14.99) and compact air fryer ($29.99) cost much less to buy from the Ambiano brand than they would with popular name brands.
If you’re moving into a dorm that doesn’t have a kitchen or want to save money cooking as much as possible during college, shop one (or both) while supplies last.
Household Cleaning Supplies
Thinking ahead to your Thanksgiving feast or holiday dinners? Don’t forget to factor in a budget for cleaning materials to tidy up before and after these gatherings.
