Zac Efron recently turned heads while debuting a bold hair transformation in behind-the-scenes photos from the set of his new film, Judgment Day.

On Reddit, Efron’s new ‘do featured a lighter color with shorter hair on the sides and longer, styled pieces on the top. The Greatest Showman star gave a thumbs-up while smiling and wearing a white tank top—with his muscular arms and arm tattoos on full display.
For reference, this is what he looked like nearly a year ago at the premiere of his Netflix film, A Family Affair.
In the Reddit comments, one fan declared, “He looks so much better here than he did around the time Iron Claw was out, whenever he had to get his jaw surgically repaired or something. Love to see it.”
Another agreed, writing, “He looked super odd in that movie (the movie was so good and ripped my heart out at the same time – I have never cried so hard at a movie before). Good to see him looking better, I don’t even care what he did to make it that way.”
Someone else shared, “This might be the best he’s ever looked? Wow.”

Efron’s upcoming flick, Judgment Day, also stars Will Ferrell, Billy Eichner, Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Bobby Cannavale.
In an exclusive interview with Parade, Eichner explained, “It’s a very fun premise. Will Ferrell plays a daytime TV court show judge, like a Judge Judy type of judge, and is very beloved and famous for his show, and I play his bailiff. So I think it’ll be really fun.”
It’s unclear what Efron’s role is, exactly, but fans are clearly pumped about his new look for the film!
