Iain Armitage is looking back on his time on the set of Young Sheldon.
The 17-year-old actor, who famously filmed the CBS series on the Warner Brothers Studio lot in Burbank, Calif., recently opened up about missing his Young Sheldon family and those who worked at the studio.

Iain Armitage Is ‘Feeling Nostalgic’ for His ‘Young Sheldon’ Family
In an Instagram post shared on Thursday, Aug. 14, Armitage admitted that he’s been “missing things” in California since Young Sheldonwrapped its final season in April 2025.
However, he was quickly cheered up when he received a gift from the Warner Bros Studio Tour Department, who sent him a package that was filled with handwritten notes and artwork.
“Last month, just when I was feeling nostalgic and missing things in California, I got this incredible giant envelope from the Warner Brothers Studio Tour Department,” Armitage wrote in his post. “As you know, I adored my Young Sheldon family on the lot, and I also loved my Studio Tour family. “
“You all really know how to make me feel good,” the teenage actor continued in his post, while sharing selfies of himself posing with various items included in the gift. “Your package brightened my day, my week, my month, my year! Thank you for your beautiful artwork, and your thoughtful notes.”

He continued, “I miss you all and will see you soon! If anyone wants to get a real glimpse into the passion of the art of film making, please go visit my studio guide friends and please tell them that Iain sends his love ❤️”
Fans Share Their Love for Armitage’s Work on ‘Young Sheldon’
“We miss you, Iain!❤️” one of his followers gushed under the Instagram post on Thursday, while another user told the actor, “We sure miss watching Young Sheldon!”
“You’re always so kind and uplifting…never any negativity…just genuine joy! The world needs more of you!😍” someone else commented.
“All of you—the entire cast and crew—created a show that I will cherish forever,” another fan chimed in.
Armitage’s Goodbye to ‘Young Sheldon’
Armitage said goodbye to the hit CBS series after filming the final season finale in April 2024, with the last episode airing the following month.
In a heartfelt Instagram post shared at the time, Armitage wrote, “This is what it takes to make a TV show, and many more besides this,” while sharing a photo of the entire cast and crew from the beloved show.
“I love all of you and am more grateful than I could ever express. ❤️” he added at the time.
